Various students worked in groups with Mrs Fitzgerald to create some cool movies. They agreed upon a simple rule or good policy for behavior that they wanted to illustrate. Then everyone worked to build, paint and detail a backdrop set and then mold characters from clay. The camera work was next - tedious picture after picture, movement after movement. All these where downloaded into a video editor where the team managed the timing, the slides, the narration, and the music. Finally after weeks of work, a split-second masterpiece was born.

Students were treated to a fantastic day of Colonial traditions. They learned about clothing, games, writing and tools.

Today at our annual fourth grade Colonial Days, visitors bearing drum and fife, wearing Colonial garb, shared information about the culture of the time. Students learned about and experienced activities from stringing beads to fighting with swords. The girls practiced etiquette with fans, shooing and acknowledging would-be beaus. Everyone wrote the alphabet with quill and ink.
